Who are they & What are the needs?
MD Shariful comes from a Bangladesh steel coil plant. The plant has set up a state-of the art Cold rolling Mill complex at Kumira 23KM from Chittagong. The coil plant built on a 15 acre site, with an annual capacity of 250, 000MT. Main products are CRFH (Cold Rolled Full Hard), CRCA (Cold Rolled Closed Annealed), GPFH (Galvanized Plain Full Hard), GC (Galvanized Corrugated).The Bangladesh coil plant needs a set of material handling equipment to lift the standard sized steel coils, which cannot be held by crane hook only and the special lifting slings are needed. Most of the steel coils are final products, packed with delicate packages which needs to be handled tenderly with no rudeness. What's more, the Bangladesh client wants the bridge cranes can perform almost 24 hours duty a day. Most importantly, the bridge crane price must be cost-effective, durable quality with low price.
Yuantai Overhead Crane Solution
To design a more accurate steel slab handling crane solution, we requested workshop drawings from the Bangladesh client. According to the client's requirements and the factory conditions, Yuantai Crane designed 1 set of 10 ton double girder overhead crane(European-style) for the Bangladesh steel plant, as we discovered that the client's workshop is relatively small and has limited space, so the European-style low headroom crane is better suited to the client's requirements. Our recommendation and design solution were well received by the client.
