We just finished a 35 ton double girder overhead crane production at the recent 3 months, which was designed as heavy duty overhead crane and will be used in Qatar glass factory for glass and materials lifting.
Negotiations for this 35 ton overhead crane order started in May 2022. Bashir visited our website and talked about his overhead crane request with us. In the first, he told us the crane will be used in a steel mill for steel coils lifting, however, when we learned more about the working conditions, we knew that this new 35 ton overhead crane would be used in his glass factory.

After checking the crane solution and quotation, he pointed out that we should replace all the motors with Siemens brand. He thought the Siemens motor quality is better than other brands. We updated the configs and revised the quotation. The price of Siemens motors is high in the market, but he didn't know that. So, when the client checked the new quotation, he was surprised and said "too much expensive". For crane and hoist products we supplied, different configs will have different price and lead times. The motors are purchased from motor factories and their distributors, we cannot manipulate the motor prices. The customer got it.
The client also sent us his factory photos, and we found there were no bearing beams on the columns, so we add this part to our quotation. After double checking and confirming the precise dimensions of the workshop, we offered the final overhead crane solution and quotation as follow.
